Research topics: Influence of river flow and ground-water discharge variability on: transport and exchange processes in salt-marshes, tidal creeks, and the surficial aquifer; sediment/ground water nutrient dynamics; salt marsh productivity and trophic structure; bacterial and fungal diversity and productivity; invertebrate population dynamics.
